Second Post

Ok, so according to the date of my one and only post, I started this blog back in September 0f 2006. So much for coming in and posting on a regular basis.

I've been quilting off and on, working lots and spending time with my kids (this usually consists of driving them back and forth to their various activities. Its time together, that's what counts!)

I have 3 baby quilts all due in about the same time period. I think for one I'm going to use a scrappy 30's top I just put together. It should be great for a little girl. The other little girl quilt I'm using a McCall's quilt pattern. You can see the pattern here http://quickquilts.com/kidscorner/kc04_pattern/. I'm using a yellow floral print with a yellow tone on tone and hot pink. It should be pretty cute.

I'm off work tomorrow, I can't decide if I'm going to stay home and stitch or go shopping!! I know I have a busy afternoon once the kids get out of school.

My first blog posting

After reading the blogs of the quilt mavericks for months now, I've decided to plunge into the blog world.

I live in NW Ohio with my family. I work full-time at one of the local university's as the director of financial aid. Thus explains part of the "frazzled". I also have 3 children, Cory, Jessi and Mark. All 3 are finally teenagers!! Thus the rest of the "frazzled" in my title.

My therapy is quilting. I quilt to relax myself. I'm my own worse critic. I have been quilting for at least 15 years now. I've lost track!!
